Alex Koglin

Alex Koglin, PhD is CEO of Nature’s Toolbox, Inc. (NTx). In November 2015, he co-founded NTx, together with Dr. Michael Humbert. Headquartered in Rio Rancho, NM, NTx is a life sciences company that develops enzymes and systems to accelerate discovery and manufacturing of natural products derived drug leads, mRNA-based and protein-based biologics using cell-free methods. The company develops and patented first continuous counter-current cell-free systems to accelerate drug development and manufacturing in a safer, faster, distributable, and more cost-effective way - in a smaller footprint compared to the established method. Alex received his PhD in biophysical chemistry from Goethe University in Frankfurt/ Main, Germany. He was also a Human Frontier Science Program Fellow at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, and an J Robert Oppenheimer Fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.
