In this first episode, I wanted to give you a little preview about why I am creating the podcast, what the podcast focus is, to walk you through some of the upcoming themes and I also have a request for help from you.

First of all, where did the idea come from to create another podcast?

I have worked in Healthcare and Life Sciences for the past 30 years. Amid the pandemic, I started a boutique consulting company because I believe that personal connection is our most significant advantage in understanding the challenges my clients face in meeting their goals.

This focus on clients works well for me because I am naturally inquisitive, and I am a lifelong learner who wanted to create a connection with my community.  To create this connection with my community, I started having conversations with Life Science executives and in these conversations, I found myself immersed in their interesting backgrounds, successes and challenges. I thought that it would be great to be able to share them with everyone in our Life Science community.

Over the past couple of months in my “free time” I started building all of the components that you need for a good show with the most important element, great guests.

Some of the themes that are coming out are:

  • Building a company during the pandemic
  • Venture Capital in Life Sciences
  • Project Management in Life Sciences
  • Building Scalable organizations
  • New Technologies or Treatments
  • New approaches to solving key issues

I am currently actively recruiting leaders Director and Above that have backgrounds and topics that fit the themes that I outlined and pre-recording episodes so that we can have a bit of a backlog.  Additionally, with the plan being to release an episode a week so we will need a great lineup of people to be able to keep the momentum.

In finding and recruiting great guests I would love to hear from you if you have an idea for a leader that should be on the show.  Who do you most want me to have on the show?  Are there specific themes or topics that you most would like to hear about within Life Sciences?  Are there key questions you would like me to ask?

It has been a fun journey so far and I am really looking forward to seeing the show take off.

Please check out our Life Science Success Resources.  You will find tools that will support growing companies and books for authors I have interviewed.
