Vadim Klyushnichenko

Dr.Klyushnichenko, VP Pharmaceutical Development and Quality at Calibr, the division of the Scripps Research Institut, La Jolla, CA Dr.Klyushnichenko has over 20 years of experience in Bio/Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing. His Drug Development experience includes the production of small molecules and proteins as well as their formulation in micro- and nano-particles, controlled-release systems for oral, injectable, implantable and pulmonary delivery. Currently, Vadim is responsible for the development of small molecules, biologics, gene and cell therapy products as well as their supply chain, which involves multiple CDMOs in the US, EU, India and China. Vadim has developed his growing managerial and scientific responsibilities working as VP of Drug Development at Paragon BioServices, Terapio Corporation, and Coldstream Laboratories Inc., Lab Head/Principal Scientist at Wyeth/Pfizer, Sr.Scientist at Baxter, Altus and Aventis. Vadim has received his B.S. in Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (FizTech), Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Russian Academy of Sciences, and continued his postdoctoral research in Germany and Canada. He has received a Certificate in Management and Business Administration from Harvard University.
